Former FATES WARNING Drummer Scheduling California Clinics
July 30, 2008Drummer Mark Zonder (SLAVIOR, ex-FATES WARNING, WARLORD) have issued the following update:
"I am going to be doing some drum clinics in the California area in the next four-five weeks. I will be playing to some FATES WARNING, WARLORD and SLAVIOR tracks as well as covering drum topics such how I come up with parts, electronics and various other topics. I will also be discussing music business related topics as well. As soon as I have dates, they will be posted. Also a MySpace is being prepared and will also have the dates."
SLAVIOR's self-titled debut album was released on April 3, 2007 via Inside Out Music.
The band had originally inked a deal with Greece's Black Lotus Records, but financial turmoil eventually caused the label to fold, leaving SLAVIOR to re-evaluate matters and come to their initial choice of labels, Inside Out.
A versatile, melodic hard rock/metal act, SLAVIOR's debut album features elements familiar to Zonder's progressive metal past, but also introduces a wide array influences including reggae, hip-hop, and modern rock.
